Roger has worked as an actor in Theatre, Radio, Film, Television and Voiceovers. The favourite theatre roles he has played include Henry Higgins in “Pygmalion”, Jack Tanner in “Man and Superman”, Jack in “The Importance of Being Earnest”, Norman in “The Norman Conquests” and Niels Bohr in “Copenhagen” and Theo/Vincent in “Vincent” (National Tour); and on television Alexis in “Sherlock Holmes” (Granada TV) Gerry Houghton in Spooks (BBC) and Achimovich in Silent Witness.

He has worked with among others: The Original Shakespeare Company, Actors of Dionysus, Absolute Theatre Company, Sunomi Films, The Globe, Xenia TC, Avignon International Festival, The Barbican, The Old World Theatre Festival in Delhi, Transworld Sport, The BBC and ITV, as well as in various rep seasons around the country.

He was co-founder of News From Verona Theatre Company for whom he translated and performed in their productions of Kleist’s “The Shattered Vessel”, Buchner’s “Woyzeck” and Chekhov’s “The Duel”. He also translates film and television scripts for various European film distributors. Alongside his acting commitments, Roger also runs a Public Speaking course for the corporate world.
